365-Day Done Right Promise - if it's not done right, we make it right

The Cedarwell Care Promise delivered by Latch, a proud Cedarwell company.

365-Day Written Promise

“Every Cedarwell company works to the same care promise: shoe covers and drop cloths inside the house, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there is a choice, a photo of the clean-up before we leave, and a written price before any work starts.”

What Our Promise Actually Means

If something we fixed isn’t right, we come back, we fix it, and you pay nothing more – that’s the whole promise, and it runs for 365 days from the date of service.

Call (626) 649-4572

You don’t file a claim. You don’t fill out a form. You call the same number you called the first time, a real person answers, and we get a technician back out to you. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a warranty you have to register or a policy with fine print that shrinks it down to almost nothing. It’s a straight commitment from Cody Beckman and the Latch & Post crew: if the work isn’t right, we make it right. No argument, no fee, no hoops.

That promise is co-signed by Cedarwell – the family that built Latch & Post in 2009 and still stands behind every technician who shows up at your gate. When you call Latch & Post, you get a local crew that knows gate hardware. When something goes sideways, you have the full weight of the Cedarwell family behind the fix.

Why We Answer Fast, Everywhere

A single-truck shop can cover one neighborhood. When the owner is already on a job across town, your call goes to voicemail. We built Latch & Post differently, because a broken gate at 10 p.m. on a Saturday doesn’t wait for Monday.

We run local crews across seven states, and every one of those trucks carries the parts that cover the most common failures on the brands families actually own – LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule. That stocking decision matters more than it sounds. A technician who arrives without the right board or the right spring doesn’t fix your gate; they schedule a return visit. We aim to fix it the first time.

The phone piece is simple: a real person answers every call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – nights, weekends, and holidays included. No voicemail, no callback queue. On an emergency, we aim to have a technician on your property within 4 hours. Most non-emergency repairs are booked the same day or the next. That window stays honest because of the crew depth behind it, not because of a marketing claim.

How We Make It Right

You Tell Us

Call (626) 649-4572 and describe what’s wrong – or just say “it still isn’t working.” You don’t need a repair order number or a case ID. The person who answers can pull your job by name and address. That’s where the process starts, and it starts immediately.

We Come Back Out

We schedule a return visit, and we treat it with the same care as the first one: shoe covers at the door, drop cloths where we’re working, quiet tools if the kids are down for a nap. There’s no second-class visit just because it’s a warranty call. The Cedarwell Care Promise applies every time a technician walks onto your property.

We Fix It

The technician diagnoses what’s not right and fixes it. If a part needs to be swapped, we swap it. If the adjustment was off, we correct it. You see the work before we close anything up, and you see the cleanup photo before we leave – same as the first visit, every time.

You Sign Off

We don’t mark a job done until you say it’s done. If you’re not satisfied with the result, we don’t leave. That’s not a policy we invented to sound good – it’s the standard Cody Beckman has held every crew to since Latch & Post opened in 2009. Your sign-off is the only thing that closes the job.

What Stands Behind the Promise

Promises are only as solid as the people keeping them. Every Latch & Post technician is background-checked and arrives in uniform – not because it looks professional, but because you should know exactly who is walking through your gate.

They train on the brands we actually service: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule. Factory-trained means the right diagnosis the first time, which is the difference between a $140 control board swap and an unnecessary full-unit replacement.

Pricing works one way here: a written price before any work starts, confirmed before the technician touches anything. No hourly rates, no subscriptions, nothing to sign up for. Every job is priced job-by-job off a free written estimate – that’s the only pricing mechanism we use, and it doesn’t change once you’ve agreed to it.

The C.A.R.E. values – Clean up like it’s our own home; Ask before moving or touching anything; Respect the family’s time and quiet hours; Explain the price before the work – aren’t a slogan on a truck. They’re the standard each Cedarwell crew is held to on every visit. Including yours.

Ask Us to Prove It

Call (626) 649-4572 – a real person picks up around the clock – or book online. Either way, you’ll have a written price in hand before any work starts, and everything on this page is in writing on our terms page. We’d rather earn your trust on the first visit than explain ourselves on the second.
